William puga vasquez

William was born in the Galápagos on the island of San Cristóbal. He has been working with volunteers for more than 20 years and has worked for various organisations, such as the Galápagos National Park as a park ranger. As well as being the director of Projects Galápagos, he has also served two terms as the town’s councillor for San Cristóbal Municipality and has spent many years improving the local education system by means of government and community projects.

jose luis criollo

Jose Luis joined Projects Galápagos in January 2016 as our deputy coordinator. for conservation. He studied tourism and hospitality which enabled him to work in those sectors for several years prior to pursuing a career in environmental conservation. He has a passion for conservation and environmental care, and enjoys farming in his spare time.

Max joined Projects Galápagos in 2019 as our conservation assistant, before moving to Europe. He is studying eco-tourism and assisted Jose Luis with our conservation programme.
